“THE CHURCH EXISTS FOR MISSION AS A FIRE EXISTS FOR BURNING” –Howard Sprague
Mission and Social Action Board mission statement:
We will strive for social justice by actively engaging with others inside and outside the church to achieve a more equitable, humane, sustainable, and peaceful world.
Who We Are
We are believers, questioners and doubters, young and old, gay and straight, partnered and single, many with children and all who were once children, those who know what they believe and those who are still trying to figure it out. Some of us grew up in church. For others, this is our first spiritual community. United in Spirit, the journey makes us one.
Here are some of the ways that our Church serves in mission through our community, nation, and world. Our Mission and Social Action Committee gives thanks for all who make this church alive in the outreaching love of Christ.
